Dr. Emily Caldwell joined the DePorre Veterinary Team in August 2022. Dr. Caldwell received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Olivet Nazarene University in 2013, later going on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University in 2017. She completed a one year rotating internship in Pittsburgh, PA and one year surgical internship in Coral Springs, FL.

She loves that there is such a high level of care provided to patients at DePorre Veterinary Hospital. Her special interests include surgery and urgent care.

Dr. Caldwell and her husband, Chas, welcomed a daughter, Noel, in April of 2022. They also have two cats, Lucy and Sadie. Outside of work she enjoys playing volleyball, reading, watching college football and the Detroit Red Wings.
