Appointment and Curbside Protocol

As COVID-19 statistics continue to improve in Michigan, DePorre Veterinary Hospital is anticipating allowing limited client access to our facility for veterinary appointments beginning on Wednesday, July 7th (subject to change based on Covid-19 statistics).

We are asking clients to remain in their vehicles and text “HERE” to (248) 859-0590 or call (248) 646-1669 to check in upon arrival. A member of our team will gather a history before advising you to meet them at one of the front doors. Due to the proximity of our exam rooms, only one family member will be allowed to attend the appointment. Our staff will continue to wear a mask during face to face interactions and we ask that you do the same at this time. You will be escorted directly to an examination room and we ask that you remain in the designated area and allow our team to assist with your pet’s examination. After the exam, we ask that you return to your vehicle while veterinary team members perform services and prepare any medications. We will call you for the remittance of payment.

If you are uncomfortable with face-to-face interaction for veterinary appointments, we will continue to provide curbside services at your request. We will continue curbside service for medication and food pick up and for grooming appointments.

If you need medications, please call our office 24 hours in advance to allow us to get your items ready for you and to take payment from you over the phone. When you arrive to pick up your medication, please call us from your car and we will bring your items to you.

We appreciate your patience as we all navigate through the many phases of COVID-19. We miss your faces and are excited to see them again face to face!
