Veterinarian
An Ohio native, Dr. Lewis came to Michigan after veterinary school to do a one-year internship at Michigan Veterinary Specialists. After completing his internship in 2001, he was happy to join the staff at DePorre Veterinary Hospital.
Dr. Lewis was inspired to join the veterinary profession because of the opportunity to combine his interests in science and animals at a level to directly help people. He has a special interest in veterinary ophthalmology and enjoys the constant challenge in a rapidly advancing field. He finds it very rewarding to help people in his community.
Dr. Lewis is married to Carol, and together they have two sons, Oscar and Finn. They have a Brittany named Triple and a Brittany named Cheddar. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, sports, and spending time with his family.
