Meet Our Skilled Veterinary Technicians

Katie joined the DePorre team in 2012. She has an associate degree in Applied Science from Baker College, as well as a bachelor's degree in English from Oakland University.

I’ve been with DePorre Vet Hospital since 2023, and one of the things I truly appreciate is the positive work atmosphere.

Gabby joined us in 2011. She has a bachelor's degree in zoology from Michigan State University and earned her LVT from Macomb Community College in 2018. At DePorre, she loves the dedication each person has here to make every pet's visit as fear free as possible.

Jessica joined DePorre Veterinary Hospital in 2014 and has grown alongside the practice beginning as an animal caregiver, advancing to veterinary assistant, and now serving as a Licensed Veterinary Technician.

Lisi started with DePorre Veterinary Hospital in 2018. She graduated from Macomb Community College with an Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology in 2011.

Mellissa is one of our LVTs and started with the DePorre team in 2013. She gained her education from Macomb Community College and has her Associates in Applied Science.

Paula joined the DePorre team in 2010. She has always loved animals, and after fulfilling her goal in becoming an LVT, she has taken a special interest in surgery. Her education includes a degree from Wayne County Community College, as well as certification from Irene's Myomassology Institute.

Samantha joined DePorre Veterinary Hospital in 2016 and has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Florida Atlantic University. She obtained her Associates Degree in Applied Science to become a licensed veterinary technician in 2021.

Ashley joined DePorre Veterinary Hospital in 2022 and holds both a Veterinary Technician Program Associate’s Degree and an Associate of Applied Science from Macomb Community College.

Erica brings a lot of experience to our team. She began at DePorre in 1999 and has 20+ years of hands-on experience in the veterinary field. She also spent two years in college in general studies.

Savannah began her career in veterinary medicine in 2016 and joined the DePorre Veterinary Hospital team in 2024.

Bayley started with DePorre Veterinary Hospital in October of 2022 as an eager to learn technician assistant with a strong passion for critters of all kinds. She pursued her degree as a Veterinary Technician from Macomb Community College and became licensed in 2024.

Kim joined us in 2016 and possesses a Bachelor of Science from the University of South Carolina. She is proud to be a part of an exceptional veterinary team that is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care with an additional commitment to a fear free experience for every pet.

Megan has been a part of our LVT team since 2024. appreciates the diversity and different medicine styles. Some doctors are fast-paced which matches which match some client's lifestyles and other doctors move at a slower pace emphasizing the science behind the medicine.
