Living in Bloomfield Hills, MI Staff outing to Hopcat

Bloomfield Hills, Michigan is located in Oakland County and is an affluent suburb about 20 or so miles from downtown Detroit. Located just west of Interstate 75, the area offers plenty of infrastructure to navigate easily to and from neighboring counties. Explore areas such as Detroit, Ferndale, Royal Oak, Birmingham and Rochester, all within a short drive. We are surrounded by the Great Lakes and are never more than six miles away from a body of water and lots of beaches! Plus, Mackinac Island is famous for its fudge and it is like stepping back in time with only horse-drawn transportation available. 

Bloomfield Hills and the surrounding communities offer a mecca of incredible restaurants, vibrant walkable downtowns, arts, outdoor recreation activities, local festivals and of course, plenty of Detroit sports teams to root on! 

If you are a foodie like us, you will be thrilled at the variety of restaurants and cuisines from around the world, including Italian, Mediterranean, Indian, etc. 

Cheer on our four major, professional Detroit teams by catching a home game at Ford Field with the Lions, rooting on the Tigers at Comerica Park, chilling with the Red Wings, or enjoying the Pistons make a few baskets at Little Caesars Arena.
