As we settle into the new year, it’s the perfect time to make your pet’s health care a priority. Preventative and routine care play an important role in keeping pets healthy and catching potential concerns early.
While routine visits are an important part of keeping our pets healthy, when concerns arise, additional diagnostics may be needed to find the root of the problem. In urgent or critical cases, emergency and specialty hospitals provide essential, lifesaving care, and we’re fortunate to work closely with trusted partners like OVRS and BluePearl.
There are also times when your pet may need further testing, but an emergency visit isn’t the right next step just yet. At DePorre Veterinary Hospital, our primary goal is to keep your pet happy and healthy for years to come while keeping that process as smooth and stress-free as possible. That’s why, in addition to SVS Mobile Imaging, we are excited to partner with MOVES to help bridge the gap between routine care and emergency/specialty referrals.

What Is MOVES?
MOVES (Mobile Veterinary Services) is a team of mobile veterinary specialists who come directly to our hospital to perform advanced diagnostics. By bringing these services directly to our hospital, we can streamline communication and provide timely diagnostics, all while allowing your pet to remain in a familiar environment with the team they know and trust.
What diagnostics can MOVES perform?
The MOVES team offers a range of advanced internal medicine services, including, but not limited to:
- Ultrasound imaging
- Endoscopic procedures for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes
- Abdominocentesis, thoracocentesis, and arthrocentesis
- Internal medicine consultations for diagnosis and treatment planning
